Korea pop duo AKMU’s new music video for their new single ‘How People Move‘ only released on May 3rd, and it has already amassed over 4. 5 million views on YouTube. In true South Korean style, it is the boldest, brightest, most colorful video you have probably seen in a while, though, so no wonder.
Even if, at least looking at some of the comments on the video, a sizeable number of people who have watched it have no idea who the duo is or what they are even watching. But, they definitely seem to like it.
So who is AKMU?
They are a brother and sister K-pop duo from Uijeongbu, South Korea called Akdong Musician, (AKMU for short), who won the 2012 season of the reality TV show K-pop Star. Since then, they have released a debut album, Play, and just followed up with an EP at the beginning of this month.
‘How People Move’ and a second single, ‘Re-Bye‘, also just released are the singles from the EP.
