Conchita Wurst Singing at Fête de la Musique, Paris – Saturday, June 21st (Video)

You know, I should probably just create a Conchita Wurst category and admit to myself I’m going to be writing about her every day. After all, with all the serious fangirling I do, that’s what usually happens. But, she’s been in so much demand lately, with European concerts just about every weekend, it’s really hard not to. And, of course I’ve got to remind you about them.

Case in point, this weekend (Saturday, 21st June), Conchita Wurst will be singing at Fête de la Musique in the Montpellier area of Paris. Fête de la Musique is a massive music festival that brings out musicians in just about every musical genre, and they all sing for free.

Conchita was invited to sing at Fête de la Musique as a special guest by French TV channel France 2, and it could end up being one of her largest audiences ever. That’s because more than 25,000 people are expected to attend the live concert, and many more will watch it on a TV special that will be broadcast live.

You can see just how big the concert will be in the promotional video below. Massive, eh?

Of course, this isn’t the last live performance Conchita Wurst will be doing in Europe. Far from it. She currently has another 11 concerts, shows or festivals she’ll be singing in just through August and, believe me, I’ll be reminding you about most of them.

Meanwhile, don’t forget this weekend’s concert on Friday, June 20th. Conchita Wurst will be performing at the Stonewall Gala at CSD Berlin and will also be receiving an award.

Boohoo – and I’m going to miss it.
