Alabama Shakes track ‘This Feeling‘ featured on HBO series ‘Little Big Lies‘
Blues rock band Alabama Shakes had more of their music featured on a U.S. TV show when their song ‘This Feeling‘ showed up on the latest episode of the new HBO dark comedy ‘Big Little Lies‘ on Sunday night — Season 1, Episode 5 “Once Bitten“.
The song played when Madeline was thinking about the accident, and then Jane calls.
The Alabama Shakes track is from the band’s second studio album Sound & Color. An album that was hugely successful when it was released in 2015.
It hit the number one spot in both the U.S. and Canada, appeared on a large number of critics’ Best Albums of 2015 lists, as well as ultimately winning four Grammy Awards for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album, and for single ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ in the Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song categories.
‘Big Little Lies‘ too is being hailed by critics as an exceptionally good dark comedy-drama, being called “bitingly funny and highly addictive”.
