American singer songwriter BØRNS’ song ‘10,000 Emerald Pools‘ was featured on the ABC TV series The Astronaut Wives Club last week (Season 1, Episode 6 — “In The Blind“), and it’s become quite popular on social media since then.
No surprise really. ‘10,000 Emerald Pools‘ is BØRNS debut single, which he released late last year. He also performed the track live on Conan to acclaim early this year, and was later tweeted about by Taylor Swift when she liked his track ‘Electric Love‘, which certainly didn’t hurt his popularity.
Now his song is featured on The Astronaut Wives Club, and he’s just started opening for Charli XCX and Bleachers on their “Charli and Jack Do America Tour”, so it’s looking like another good year for BØRNS.
Oh and, as for the name, it apparently means ‘children’ in Danish, as BØRNS says his music will “bring out your inner child”. Okay then.
