Celine Dion was one of the artists featured on the soundtrack of the new Disney ‘Beauty and the Beast‘ remake starring Emma Watson and Dan Watson. A movie that was released just last week and has already grossed over $428 million worldwide.
Dion sang the song ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever‘, a song written exclusively for the movie and the first song heard on the ending credits. Emma Watson also sings the song during the movie with a quite beautiful voice, as does Kevin Kline to the music box version.
It’s Celine Dion, though, that adds a special ‘something’ to this song, and it’s maybe why she seems to be chosen to sing songs for movie soundtracks so much? After all, when you can make a quite simple song sound this memorable just by the way you sing it, why would a studio ever choose anyone else?
‘How Does A Moment Last Forever‘ was written by eight-time Oscar winner composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice. No wonder it’s so pretty.
