Listen to Jade Bird’s ‘Uh Huh’ from Midnight, Texas, Season 2, Episode 4, “I Put A Spell On You”

Listen to Jade Bird’s ‘Uh Huh‘, it’s wild, raucous and raw

British singer songwriter Jade Bird’s ‘Uh Huh’ was featured in the opening scenes of the latest episode of the NBC supernatural drama Midnight, Texas this week — Season 2, Episode 4, “I Put A Spell On You“.

It was played as we see a pregnant woman drive into town, stumble out of the car and into the town’s church.

Uh Huh‘ is a single released by Jade Bird earlier in the year, and one which made it to the number 3 spot on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs chart.

As for Jade Bird, she is a relatively new arrival on the American indie folk rock scene, having only released her debut EP Something American in 2017. (And yes, Jade Elizabeth Bird is her real name).

In the last year, though, the talented singer songwriter has performed at South by South West, was a finalist for the prestigious BBC Sound of in 2018, and has been the opening act for London Grammar, First Aid Kit and Son Little.

Not surprising really as, with her raucous, raw vocals and wild sound, she certainly draws your attention.
