Listen to Kaleo’s ‘Broken Bones’ from Grey’s Anatomy — Growly, Cool Garage Blues

Icelandic garage blues rock band Kaleo‘s ‘Broken Bones‘ was featured on Grey’s Anataomy this week (October 13th, 2016) — Season 13, Episode 4 “Falling Slowly“. The track is from Kaleo’s debut album A/B.

As for Kaleo, while originally from Mosfellsbær, Iceland, they relocated to Austin, Texas a couple of years ago after they were signed to Atlantic Records. Since then, they have been making quite a name for themselves as an edgy band that is heavily influenced by folk and blues music.

Kaleo’s debut album A/B was released back in June this year, to critical acclaim for its diverse music, frontman JJ Julius Son’s growly voice, and the band’s cool garage blues.

‘Broken Bones‘ itself is very much influenced by southern blues. So much so you could be excused for thinking Kaleo is an American band.

Listen to the track below and, of course, buy A/B from one of the major digital music sites.
