London Grammar’s beautiful, ethereal track ‘Nightcall‘ was featured on Mistresses on Thursday night (Season 3, Episode 9 – “Unreliable Witness“). ‘Nightcall‘ is from the band’s debut album If You Wait which, by the way, is gorgeous.

As for London Grammar, they are a British indie pop trio formed in 2013, and comprised of vocalist Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman on guitar and Dominic ‘Dot’ Major on keyboards.

They don’t have a huge portfolio of music released at the moment (one album and one EP) but what they do release on YouTube gets massive numbers of views.

‘Nightcall‘, for instance, has almost 10 million views so far, their first single ‘Wasting My Young Years‘ has over 22.5 million hits (and made it to number 31 on the UK singles charts), and their follow up single ‘Strong‘ had a similar number of views. Not bad for an indie trio on an indie label (Ministry of Sound).

Watch and listen to London Grammar’s ‘Nightcall‘ below. Isn’t that just incredibly pretty? And, of course, if you like the track, you’ll love their album — If You Wait — which you can currently pick up on most major digital music sites in a special US edition with two bonus tracks.
