Listen to Of Monsters and Men’s ‘Thousand Eyes’ from ‘The Originals’ — It’s Sad But Hopeful

of monsters and men thousand eyes

The incredible Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men‘s ‘Thousand Eyes‘ was featured on The CW’s The Originals (Season 3, Episode 15 – “An Old Friend Calls“) on March 4th.

The song was heard as Klaus and Hayley leave New Orleans, and it’s perfect as it has a sad but also hopeful feel to it.

Thousand Eyes‘ was written by Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson and is from Of Monsters and Men’s second studio album Beneath the Skin.

An album that hit the number 3 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart the week it was first released, the number 1 spot in Canada, and number 4 on the Australian Albums (ARIA).

Watch the official lyrics video for Of Monsters and Men’s ‘Thousand Eyes‘ below and listen to that fabulous song. It is lip-synced by Icelandic actor Ingvar E. Sigurðsson.

You may remember him from the Icelandic movie ‘Angels of the Universe‘ or from the 2015 British-American movie ‘Everest‘.
