Looking for some interesting new music?

Then listen to Panic! At The Disco’s new track ‘Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time‘, the latest release from their upcoming studio album Death of a Bachelor.

The album, which is the fifth studio album for the American rock band, is due for release on January 15th, and features their previous track releases ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Victorious’.

It will be released on the Fueled by Ramen record label and DCD2.

Lead singer Brendon Urie says about writing Death of a Bachelor, it is a “very jazzy” album and, to him, reminds him so much of Frank Sinatra’s music.

Sorry, Brendon, but I am not really getting much of a Frank vibe from ‘Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time‘.

It is an absolutely fabulously rocking song, and really proves just how good this band still is, but no, not Frank.

I am, however, getting a superb B52’s vibe from the song, as it has the exact same guitar riff as The B52’s classic ‘Rock Lobster‘.

Listen to ‘Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time‘ below to see what I mean. Fabulously loud, cool and fun, isn’t it?

You can pre-order Death of a Bachelor on all major music sites. From what I have heard from the album so far, I would say this is going to be one to own.
