I’ve loved American singer-songwriter Pete Yorn since he released his debut album Musicforthemorningafter in 2001. So much so, I speed walked and roller-bladed on the beach in Santa Monica with that album playing in my ears for months after it was released.
Now, Pete Yorn is about to release Arranging Time, his latest studio album — studio album number seven, and his first solo album in six years — and, if the first four tracks released from it so far are anything to go by, it is reminiscent of his work in the early 2000s, and is going to be fabulous.
In fact, so good is Pete Yorn’s latest release, ‘I’m Not The One’, I’ve had it playing on repeat for the last couple of hours, and have spent half of that time dancing around my hotel room to it.
Arranging Time is due to be released on March 11th on Capitol Records, and is currently available for pre-order.
Meanwhile, listen to ‘I’m Not The One‘ in the audio video below. It is classic Pete Yorn, incredibly catchy and so, so, so good.
