British alternative rock band Radiohead‘s haunting track ‘Exit Music (For a Film)‘ was featured on Black Mirror this week — Season 3, Episode 3, “Shut Up And Dance“. It was played as the episode was ending.

Exit Music (For a Film)‘ is from Radiohead’s 1997 album OK Computer. An album that, still today, is looked at as one of the best alternative albums ever released.

The song was originally written by Radiohead for Baz Luhrmann’s movie Romeo + Juliet. And, while it was heard on the film’s soundtrack, it was not recorded for the soundtrack album at the request of the band, who included it on OK Computer a year later instead.

Listen to Radiohead’s ‘Exit Music (For a Film)‘ below. Isn’t that just gorgeous? And sad.
