The Sleeping At Last cover of The Police track ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic‘ was featured on the latest episode of the new CW supernatural drama Legacies this week — Season 1, Episode 6, “Mombie Dearest“.
It is one of a huge number of Sleeping At Last songs featured on contemporary TV series, and was played in the montage as Lizzie and MJ are just about to slow dance when Rafael arrives, and then apologizes to Lizzie.
The track continued to play as Rafael begins to dance with her to the song.
Sleeping At Last’s ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic‘ is from his 2014 eight-track EP of covers — Covers, Vol 1.
The EP included covers of classics like ‘All Through The Night’, ’99 Red Balloons‘ and ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’, along with a cover of the iconic Men Without Hats track ‘The Safety Dance‘. All, of course, featuring Sleeping At Last’s plaintive vocals.
His cover of ‘The Safety Dance‘ was also played on last night’s episode of Legacies, soon after we heard ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic‘.
