Listen to Sleeping At Last’s ‘Taste’ from Grey’s Anatomy, Season 15, Episode 5, “Everyday Angel”

When you turn on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy nowadays, you can pretty much expect a track from Sleeping At Last. Because that man has had more of his music featured on Grey’s Anatomy than any other artist.

The latest was on this week’s episode of the medical drama — Season 15, Episode 5, “Everyday Angel” — when Sleeping At Last’s ‘Taste‘ was featured.

It was played as Avery takes Rafi’s scalpels, and as Aamire prays for Rafi.

Taste‘ is from Sleeping At Last’s Atlas: Year Two project. And, to me, is a slightly harder but more upbeat song than some of his other music.

Because, sure, it still features Sleeping At Last’s plaintive voice, but it has a more insistent beat, fabulously Irish fiddles and is more joyous and less melancholic than what we often hear on other tracks.

Sleeping At Last is multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Ryan O’Neal.

He has released four studio albums, seven compilations and more than 25 EPs, making him one of the most prolific American musicians today.
