British punk rock band the Buzzcock’s classic hit ‘Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)‘ was featured on the latest episode of iZombie this week — Season 3, Episode 11, “Conspiracy Weary‘. It was played when Liv, newly paranoid from eating brains, turns on music so she, Ravi and Clive can talk without anyone overhearing them.

Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)‘ is from the Buzzcock’s 1978 album Love Bites (Jesus, that’s a long time ago), and hit the number 12 spot on the UK singles chart at the time.

The song came about because the band were hanging around together one day, watched the musical Guys and Dolls, heard the line, loved it and so wrote a song about it. Luck they did as, to this day, it is probably the most well-known song the Buzzcocks have ever released.

As for Buzzcocks, even though they were founded in 1976 and have had a few line-up changes since, they are still around and Pete Shelley is still the lead singer.

The band is currently made up of Shelley, Steve Diggle, Danny Farrant and Chris Remington. Shelley and Diggle are the two original Buzzcocks members still with the band.

In 2016, the band set off on a 40th-anniversary tour “Buzzcocks 40″ fans raved about that hit cities in the U.K., Europe and North America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
