The Silent Comedy’s ‘Bartholomew‘ was chosen as the theme song for ‘Goliath‘, the new Amazon Video crime series starring Billy Bob Thornton, and it’s been stuck in my head since I started binge watching the series this week.
‘Bartholomew‘ is from The Silent Comedy’s 2010 album Common Faults. But, if you are a gamer like me, you may have also heard the track while playing the video game Dark Souls.
The track has also shown up on the soundtrack of the vampire series The Originals in the past.
As for The Silent Comedy, they are a San Diego-based rock band with a heavy folk influence twist that really makes them stand out. Started by brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman, the band has been around since 2006, and is currently a four-member band.
They are also known as a band that loves hanging out with fans in a bar after the show, drinking a beer or shooting the breeze. Now that’s as down to earth as it comes.
Listen to their ‘Bartholomew‘ in the video below. Rocking, isn’t it?
