Martin Garrix & Matisse & Sadko’s ‘Forever‘ is same old same old but with a beautiful video

It’s getting to the point where you can click on a new Martin Garrix music video and have already predicted how it’s going to sound. That’s because, lately, the talented DJ/producer seems to be regurgitating the same music style and sound over and over again.

Case in point, Martin Garrix’s latest music video released this morning.

Called ‘Forever‘, it is a collaboration with Russian DJs and production pair Matisse and Sadko and, as expected, sounds very much like ‘Pizza, one of Garrix’s newest releases, in parts. In fact, in some sections, the songs are almost interchangeable.

Of course, the video for Garrix’s ‘Forever‘ is beautifully shot, and the sweeping pulsating music suits the grandeur of the desolate scenes perfectly.

I just wish we could hear a slightly different sound from the talented Dutch producer now and then than these anthemic releases that, after a while, all blur into one.

Fans, however, will probably be thrilled, as ‘Forever‘ is one of the tracks Garrix has been playing during his sets at festivals all over the world this summer.

Listen to it below, as you may love it. Me? I’m just a bit meh on this one.
