Morrissey’s ‘I Wish You Lonely’ at Berlin Live proves he still has the voice and stage presence to captivate a crowd

Morrissey’s recent live performance of new track ‘I Wish You Lonely‘ at Arte TV’s Berlin Live last year left no doubt the man still has it when it comes to voice, stage presence and the ability to captivate a crowd.

Morrissey’s performance in Berlin took place on October 11th, 2017 before a small, exclusive crowd, with many fans getting shut out in the cold when it came to getting tickets.

Arte TV did stream the Morrissey gig, though, and then had it available for viewing for 24 hours afterwards before deleting it from their site.

‘I Wish You Lonely’, therefore, is the first song that has officially shown up from Berlin Live, appearing on Morrissey’s VEVO channel about an hour ago, and from a concert where Morrissey sang the following songs:

Alma Matters

I Wish You Lonely

Speedway

I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris

Istanbul

Spend The Day in Bed

Home is a Question Mark

My Love, I’d Do Anything For You

World Peace Is None of Your Business

The Bull Fighter Dies

All The Young People Must Fall In Love

When You Open Your Legs

Meat Is Murder

Back On The Chain Gang (a cover of the classic Pretenders song)

Let’s hope more of them show up on official videos soon.

Meanwhile, the entire concert is also available on YouTube. For the moment. As is the official release of ‘I Wish You Lonely‘, both of which you can watch below. Because he is bloody lovely.
