Orange Pixel’s Ashworld in Early Access this month, releasing in September, 2017

The incredible Dutch developer Orange Pixel, aka Pascal Bestebroer, has just released the official trailer for his new open-world survival adventure game Ashworld. It is a game that is set to be in Early Access later this month, with a full release planned for September, 2017. From what the trailer shows, it also looks like it is going to be a whole lot of fun.

Ashworld is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which the player must scavenge for water and food while protecting himself from Ragers and Skellies. Weapons and vehicles can also be found scattered throughout the game to help you increase your experience points as you explore caverns, abandoned buildings and underground structures.

The Ashworld trailer shows off some of the game’s weapons, some pretty insane car action and a definitely ominous-feeling game. Watch it below.

As for Orange Pixel, you probably already know him from such excellent pixel games as Heroes of Loot, Heroes of Loot 2, Gunslugs and Meganoid. If not, and you like these types of games, you really should check them out on Orange Pixel’s website as he brings pixel games to a whole other level.

According to the developer, Ashworld will be released on Windows, Mac and Linux in September with an iOS and an Android version coming out later in the year. You will be able to pick it up on Steam, itch.io and the Humble Store.
