Passenger’s ‘Beautiful Birds’ is Lyrical and Exquisite – Repeat Rotation Video

passenger beautiful birds italy video

British folk singer Passenger, aka Michael Rosenberg, has just released one of the prettiest songs I’ve heard in a while. So pretty it’s my Repeat Rotation Video today, as I just can’t stop listening to it.

Called ‘Beautiful Birds‘, Passenger’s latest song comes with a gorgeous music video that he filmed while in Italy. The video was directed by Jarrad Seng.

As for ‘Beautiful Birds‘, the song first sounds simple, both in music and in lyrics, but when you listen to the lyrics carefully, they are so incredibly descriptive and lyrical, and the song itself is sad and full of regret.

You remember when we were two beautiful birds, we would light up the sky, when we’d fly,
You were orange and red, like the sun when it sets, I was green as an apple’s eye.

Watch Passenger’s ‘Beautiful Birds‘ below. It’s exquisite, in every sense.
