Spoon announces 5 new tour dates in southern U.S. in support of ‘Hot Thoughts’ album

Indie rock band Spoon has announced five new tour dates in the southern U.S. for October, 2017. All dates are for their concert tour supporting new album Hot Thoughts which, by the way, is bloody brilliant.

Pre-sale starts this morning at 10am EDT, which you can access via the ‘HOTTHOUGHTS17’ code.

Otherwise, you can pick up tickets via Live Nation for the five southern U.S. October concert dates when the general public gets access to ticket sales on Friday, July 28th at 10am EDT. Mondo Cozmo, aka Josh Ostrander,  will be the opening act for all five dates.

The band’s full roster of concert dates for the Hot Thoughts tour is on the band’s website. The tour ends on November 17th in Lisbon, Portugal.

Meanwhile, if you want a reminder of just how good Spoon is live before you buy those tickets, check out the just-uploaded-by-SNL 10-year-old video of Spoon’s SNL performance of ‘You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb‘ below. And yep, nowadays, they are even better.

Oct 11 – Tulsa, Okla. @ Cain’s Ballroom
Oct 12 – Dallas, Texas @ House of Blues
