American alternative rock band Autolux were the musical guests on Conan on Tuesday night (July 26th, 2016), where they performed their latest single ‘Brainwasher‘.
The track is from their new studio album Pussy’s Dead, which was produced by Boots and released back in April.
And what is fabulous about Autolux, other than that their experimental rock sound is so unique, is that drummer and vocalist Carla Azar has to be one of the best drummers on the planet. Especially as she is killing it with the vocals at the same time.

And, sure, if you have not seen Autolux perform before, you may find it a little difficult to get your ear attuned to them, as their rock, synth, post-punk sound is definitely unusual. But listen to ‘Brainwasher‘ and then give their album a try. It’s currently available on all major music platforms, and they really are worth cultivating an appreciation for.
