Ben Platt gives a gorgeous performance of ‘ For Forever‘ on ‘Stephen Colbert‘
Actor Ben Platt performed an emotional ‘For Forever‘ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. Even more emotional as Platt seemed quite nervous when he first began to sing.
But he gave a performance that was quite spectacular, particularly as he is more used to singing the song on stage within the context of a play.
‘For Forever‘ is from the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. A musical in which Ben Platt plays the lead role, and one he is currently up for a Tony Award in as Best Actor in a Musical.
As for the musical, Dear Evan Hansen has also been nominated for eight other awards at the upcoming 71st Tony Awards. The ceremony itself will take place on June 11th, 2017.
