Ghostpoet performs ‘X Marks The Spot’ live on Later…with Jools Holland
The amazing musical acts continue on the latest season of Later…with Jools Holland with British singer and musician Ghostpoet singing ‘X Marks The Spot‘. The song is from his latest album Shedding Skin, released last month. And from the first line of this, where Ghostpoet huskily croons “Obviously, u made me see, cant take this life for nothin, let me be all alone”, I was hooked.
Interestingly too, as it’s usually the opposite, I think Ghostpoet’s live performance of ‘X Marks The Spot‘ on Jools Holland is far far better, and far more grabbing of the emotions, than on the official video for the song, which just didn’t really hit me at all.
