Watch The Haunting of Hill House clip to see if it will frighten you

The new Netflix supernatural horror series The Haunting of Hill House is being talked about as the scariest series ever made.

So much so, several friends I would have thought were not the easily frightened kind have messaged me to say “If you love horror, you have to watch The Haunting of Hill House.”

One was so frightened by it, she has been sleeping with the lights on for the last couple of nights. And I am talking about a grown woman with kids.

Now I thought the scariest film I had ever seen was the Thai horror film Shutter.

That movie freaked me out so much, I slept with the lights on for a week. (You can watch that film with English subtitles here).

And that was after I went to see the film with a Thai guy in Bangkok, and laughed at him every time he screamed.

This clip is terrifying

Apparently, though, The Haunting of Hill House is even scarier than Shutter. At least if this clip is anything to go by.

Called The Haunting of Hill House Clip: The Scariest Hallway We’ve Ever Seen, it is just 47 seconds looking down a hallway in Hill House and then…

Yeah. I am probably not going to be watching this series. How about you?

The Haunting of Hill House stars Mckenna Grace, Timothy Hutton, Carla Gugino, Michiel Huisman, Elizabeth Ann Reaser, Violet McGraw, Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas and Lulu Wilson.

The series is based on the novel by Shirley Jackson.

It is already critically acclaimed, to the extent it has an approval rating of 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, and is being talked about as one of the best horror series ever made.

All 10 episodes of Season 1 are currently available on Netflix.

Yep. Definitely no.
