As just about every year, the London Fireworks that welcomed in 2017 were some of the most spectacular in the world. (See 2016’s fireworks here if you want to see what I mean).
Set off on the River Thames with Big Ben and the London Eye in the foreground and background, the London Fireworks 2017 kicked off as the iconic bongs of Big Ben said goodbye to 2016 and 2017 arrived.
Along with the fabulous New Year fireworks London sets off every year, though, is also the spectacular music the fireworks go off to. And this year, the music the organizers chose was particularly Prince and David Bowie heavy.
A lovely tribute to two men who were two of the most iconic musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries, and who died in 2016.
So which music was played during the London Fireworks, 2017? Here is the track list and, if you watch the fireworks in the video below, you will see just how perfect they were.
