Google has implemented its new “privacy policy”. That the word “privacy” is even associated with this disgusting policy is laughable. In fact, with this new step, Google has done everything it can to track many of your moves on the internet. Now, when you go to Google search, YouTube, or any other Google-owned website, it will track where you have been, where you are going, and what searches you have done in the past. All this history will be recorded on your record at Google — permanently. Supposedly, it will then be used to “better target advertising” to you. Bullshit.

With this new Google “privacy policy” every search you do can now be linked to your name, your face, your phone number and address.

Do you really want other people to be able to see quite clearly where you go on the internet? What happens if governmental authorities in your country decide to go after you for whatever reason? You really want them to have access to all your search information? What happens if a hacker manages to access Google records? You really want them to have that information.

Needless to say, we will no longer be using Google for search and have also closed our YouTube account (Google is not tracking you if you don’t have accounts nor are signed into the ones you have, so make sure you are never signed in, if you care about privacy that is).

We also recommend using DuckDuckGo for search – which is a fabulous internet search engine that does NOT track your searches or save anything you do on their service. You want REAL PRIVACY – avoid Google like the plague, and use DuckDuckGo.
