2-part Haikyu!! film announced, teaser trailer, visual released

Now, I have to admit, I dropped the Haikyu!! anime series about 8 episodes in, as I found Shoyo Hinata one of the most annoying characters in anime.

That being said, I am well aware it is one of the most popular sports anime in recent years, so fans who did enjoy the show will be happy to know a 2-part Haikyu!! film is now on its way.

The Haikyu!! film series was announced this weekend on the show’s official Twitter account, with the comment that it will be both the next installment in the story and the last.

An August event providing more information about the 2-part Haikyu!! film was also announced, along with a short video featuring scenes from the anime and pages from the manga, and a new teaser visual. (check it out below)

The Haikyu!! series is based on the Haruichi Furudate manga of the same name,

The films will again be produced by Toho Animation.
