The upcoming Aardman Animations’ movie A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon got a third trailer this morning. A trailer that makes this new stop-motion clay animation comedy look even funnier than the last one.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon is the sequel to the first Shaun the Sheep movie, which was released in 2015.
It is also from the creators of Wallace and Gromit and the film Chicken Run, one of my all-time favorite movies, and appears to have the same sense of humor that made these two creations so successful.
Plot-wise, Farmageddon follows the story of cute alien Lu-La, who crash lands near Mossy Bottom Farm. The place where Shaun and his friends live.
The problem is, once crash landed and without an emergency craft to get her back into space, Lu-La is stuck on planet earth. It is up to Shaun and his friends then to get her back home where she belongs.
If they aren’t successful, the result will be a massive alien invasion of Earth — Farmageddon.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon stars the voices of Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes, Kate Harbour, Richard Webber, Simon Greenall, Emma Tate and Andy Nyman, and will hit movie theaters in the UK on October 18th.
Unfortunately, Americans will have to wait two more months until December 13th before the film hits U.S. movie theaters.
Until then, you can at least watch the Farmageddon trailer over and over again. It is very cute. Check it out below.
