7th Time Loop anime casts Daisuke Ono as Michel Evan – flamboyant scholar who taught Rishe in her 3rd loop

The folks producing the upcoming new fantasy anime 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! have just released the name of a new voice cast member.


That 7th Time Loop cast member is Daisuke Ono, who will voice the very flamboyant looking Michel Evan (aka ミシェル・エヴァン).

Michel Evan is a scholar of an unknown age, and is a man who educated protagonist Rishe during her third loop.

A voice file has also been released, so you can get an idea of how he sounds.

What other characters has Daisuke Ono voiced?

As for Daisuke Ono, the Japanese voice actor is a freelancer who has played a huge number of popular anime characters in his more than 20 year career, which began in 2001.

Those characters include Erwin Smith in Attack on Titan, Joutarou Kuujou in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, demon butler Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, Shizuo Heiwajima in Durarara!!, Sinbad in Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, Shintarou Midorima in Kuroko’s Basketball, Riki Nendou in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Itsuki in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Kurou Yatogami in K.

More recently, Daisuke Ono has voiced Seiyuu Shirosaki in My New Boss is Goofy, Kyousuke Hori in Horimiya: Piece and Yasuhiro in Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen.

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! details

The upcoming anime is based on the light novel series by Touko Amekawa, which is currently being published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.

There are four volumes out in English so far, with Volume 5 due to be published in June, 2024.

Seven Seas explains the 7th Time Loop plot like this:

Every time Rishe turns twenty, she dies and is reincarnated to the day she gets dumped. She has been a merchant, an apothecary, and even a maid. For her seventh life, she has one goal: to live a long and lazy life.

But then she gets a marriage proposal from the Crown Prince–the man who killed her in her previous life as a knight. Despite her determination to avoid drama, here she goes again!

The anime based on the light novels is being produced by Studio Kai and Hornets, and now has a release date of January 7, 2024 in Japan.

Crunchyroll is set to stream the series internationally.
