I have to say I am happy to see the Korean comedy drama A Virtuous Business, Episode 3 grabbing its highest rating yet on Saturday night in South Korea.
That highest rating yet occurred both from nationwide audiences and those in Seoul, and made the JTBC drama the #1 show in its time slot.
Nationwide, A Virtuous Business, Episode 3 earned 4.63 percent, which is slightly higher than its previous episode’s 4.54 percent.
It was in Seoul, though, where the K-drama saw a significant audience share increase, as it jumped from Episode 2’s rating of 4.67 percent to last night’s 5.10 percent.
Not bad for the ladies selling adult products, eh?
A Virtuous Business is also earning solid ratings from viewers on My Drama List, where it is grabbing an 8.1 out of 10, and with overwhelmingly positive comments (except about Junk Sook’s cheating husband. Obviously).
Meanwhile, over on Netflix where it is streaming in some regions, the Korean drama is currently in the Top 10 in 8 countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand.
A Virtuous Business features a stellar almost-all-female-main cast — Kim So Yeon, Kim Sung Ryung, Kim Sun Young (in her first main role in a while, Yay!), and Lee Se Hee — and with male lead Yeon Woo Jin superbly backing up the women.
The K-drama’s next episode will hit later on tonight, both on JTBC and on Netflix.
