Ainosuke Kataoka and Aoi Morikawa join Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku cast – new trailer/visual also out
It’s just over a month away before the upcoming Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku hits Japanese movie theaters (June 27th).
That is why today we got a new trailer, key visual and two new supporting cast members and their characters (via the anime’s official X account).
The two supporting cast members and their characters are:
- Ainosuke Kataoka who voices Muom
- Aoi Morikawa who plays Sarifa
Character designs for Muom and Sarifa were also released on the movie’s website, along with video comments from both Ainosuke Kataoka and Aoi Morikawa.

Interestingly, neither have voiced anime character before.
After all, Ainosuke Kataoka is a famous Japanese actor and TV host who is also known for his performances in kabuki, the classical Japanese theater, while Aoi Morikawa is a film and TV actress and model.
Cool then that they are making their Japanese anime voice acting debuts in Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku, isn’t it?

Just in case you have forgotten Lupin the 3rd has a history that goes right back to the anime’s first episode way back in October, 1977, the new Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku trailer kicks off with a look back at clips from episodes in 1978 through 1996 until we then see the gorgeous art style from its 2025 film.
And yep, I have a feeling the film will be very successful as the trailer has earned 330,000 views in just the few hours since it dropped.
