‘Hajimari no Setsuna‘ by Rōbai Gakuen Chūtōbu 1-nen 3-kumi is far more addictive than you might think
When I first heard the Akebi’s Sailor Uniform opening theme song, I was disappointed.
That’s because the sweet song sounded a little lightweight, and not an OP that I felt fit with the theme of Akebi’s Sailor Uniform particularly.
As it turns out, how wrong I was as, just three or four episodes into this lovely slice-of-life anime, and I was as addicted to the Akebi’s Sailor Uniform opening theme song as I am to Dororo‘s first ending theme.
The Akebi’s Sailor Uniform OP is called ‘Hajimari no Setsuna‘, and is performed by Rōbai Gakuen Chūtōbu 1-nen 3-kumi — a new vocal group made up of all 16 main cast members.
‘Hajimari no Setsuna‘ is ‘The First Moment‘ in English and, with the yuri undertones this almost all-girl anime gets as it progresses, the lyrics of the song sung about liking someone fit it perfectly too.
I think it would be nice if time stopped
