British actor Alan Cumming has a funny story about how he managed to persuade Helen Mirren to wear Crocs. A story he told Jimmy Fallon last night.
Apparently, Cumming loves wearing Crocs shoes as he finds them so comfortable, so he wore them during a shoot with Dame Helen Mirren in Hawaii. Mirren, of course, thought the shoes were ugly, which she told him in no uncertain terms one day.
But, the next time Alan Cumming showed up on set, there’s Dame Helen Mirren all excited because…….she’s wearing Crocs. And not only one pair of Crocs. She loved them so much, she bought three.
