Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have tied the knot. After being together for more than nine year, and the parents of six children, they finally decided to get married in France last weekend.
According to the Associated Press, Jolie and Pitt were married on Saturday in a small chapel at Château Miraval, the estate the couple own in the French countryside. The ceremony was kept secret from all but their closest friends, with details about their marriage not being released until today — five days later.
Meanwhile, five days after the wedding, the couple are off doing what they normally do. Pitt is in England promoting his new film “Fury”, while Jolie is back working on “Unbroken”, a movie written by the Coen brothers and directed by Jolie herself.
Congratulations, I say. There could hardly be a more perfect-for-each-other couple.
