Germany’s entry for Eurovision 2015, Ann Sophie, gave a very solid live performance of her song ‘Black Smoke‘ at Eurovision in Concert last weekend in Amsterdam. The video has finally gone up for it, and here she is.
Notice too, she’s having a blast up on that stage, which definitely bodes well for a stellar performance in the finals of Eurovision 2015. Germany, of course, being one of the Big 5, so a grand final performance for Ann Sophie is already in the bag.
Remember too, Ann Sophie was not the person chosen to represent Germany in the public vote at Unser Song für Österreich, the German National Final, in March.
But the original winner, Andreas Kümmert, decided he didn’t want to go to Eurovision, and Ann Sophie was awarded the chance instead.
Since then, she’s shown just how much she really wanted to be there, so it looks as if Germany has the right contestant anyway.
Listen to Ann Sophie singing ‘Black Smoke‘ at Eurovision in Concert in the video below. Although I love her, it’s not one of my personal favorite songs as I preferred ‘Jump The Gun‘, the other song she sang at the German National Final, but I do think she’ll probably do well with it.
