Norwegian singer Aurora released a VEVO video for her cover of ‘Walking In The Air’ last week, and it’s been on my desktop playing over and over again since. Today, it has become my Repeat Rotation Video as, even on its probably 50th playthrough at this point, Aurora’s voice is bell-clear and absolutely stunning, and the song is touching and sad.
‘Walking In The Air‘ is from the classic 1990 British Christmas movie ‘The Snowman’, and was originally sung by St Paul’s Cathedral choirboy Peter Auty.
Aurora recorded her version of the track late last year as a Christmas gift for her fans.
Listen to it below for your Repeat Rotation Video. Because her voice, God, her voice. Just imagine having a voice that beautiful.
You can pick up Aurora’s superb debut album ‘All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend’ on all major music sites.
