Banished from the Heroes’ Party streaming on Funimation in October — watch the trailer

I have a huge list of anime series I am looking forward to in Fall, 2021.

One of them, Banished from the Heroes’ Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is close to the top of my list due to it being based on the Zappon and Yasumo light novel series.

Today, watching the anime got a little closer as it was announced Banished from the Heroes’ Party will be streaming on Funimation in October as part of their Fall line up.

The Banished from the Heroes Party light novel series is currently published in the west via Yen Press, who describe the series this way:

A heroic and mighty adventurer dreams of…opening a pharmacy? Red was once a member of the Hero’s party, a powerful group destined to save the world from the evil forces of Taraxon, the Raging Demon Lord. That is, until one of his comrades kicked him out. Hoping to live the easy life on the frontier, Red’s new goal is to open an apothecary. However, keeping the secret of his former life may not be as simple as he thinks. Especially when the beautiful Rit, an adventurer from his past, shows up and asks to move in with him!

The anime is directed by Makoto Hoshino (Utano☆Princesama Revolutions), with series composition by Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!)
