Beauty and Mr. Romantic #1 most-watched show on Saturday and Sunday
The new KBS2 weekend drama Beauty and Mr. Romantic kicked off on Saturday night to excellent ratings, and to a #1 spot as the most-watched show on TV in South Korea for all of Saturday.
Comments all over social media and via forums, both in South Korea and internationally, were also overwhelmingly positive about the K-drama so far.
As you might expect then, Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 2 premiered last night to even higher ratings, and to still being the #1 most-watched show of any kind on Korean TV for all of Sunday.
The nationwide rating for the Korean drama via Nielsen Korea was 17.2 percent, which is a very nice increase from Episode 1’s already high rating of 15.3 percent.
Meanwhile, the show’s Seoul rating also saw a nice jump, climbing from 14.1 percent for its first episode to 16.0 percent for its second.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic‘s ratings are still slightly lower than its predecessor Live Your Own Life were for its second episode (18.4 percent and 16.7 percent) but, with 48 episodes still to air, there is plenty of time for the Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo-led drama to catch up, or even surpass it.
Where to watch Beauty and Mr. Romantic outside South Korea
