The ongoing weekend drama Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 35 grabbed the highest ratings of its run on Sunday night.
The weekend drama has been the #1 most-watched show of any kind in South Korea on Sundays since it premiered on March 23rd, but even managed to surpass its own success last night in the ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 35 earned 19.2 percent of the audience share nationwide.
That is a big increase from its previous episode’s nationwide rating of 17.2 percent, which it earned on Saturday night.
Audiences in Seoul also gave the weekend drama its highest rating yet, with Episode 35 garnering 18.2 percent — which is a substantial increase from Episode 34’s 16.1 percent of the audience share.
With 15 more episodes still to air before the KBS2 drama ends, those ratings also mean the Korean drama could very easily surge over 20.00 percent of the TV viewership before it’s done.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic stars Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo.
It airs on KBS2 every Saturday and Sunday at 19:55 (KST) through September 8th, 2024.
International viewers can watch all 35 episodes released so far via Viki.
