Indie singer songwriter Beth Ditto rocks Jools Holland stage promoting new album Fake Sugar
You know it’s a good music day when indie singer songwriter Beth Ditto rocks the Jools Holland stage with not one but two awesome songs — Standing in the Way of Control and her new single Fire.
Both songs are from Ditto’s upcoming debut solo album Fake Sugar, which releases on June 16th, 2017 and is the follow up to her 2011 EP.
It was a return performance for Ditto on Jools Holland last night as well, and one that was a fabulous showcase of just what this iconic singer can do.
A singer who unapologetically describes herself as a ‘fat, feminist lesbian from Arkanas’, and who couldn’t seem to care less what other people think about her. Which, of course, frees her up to produce some of the most spectacular rock music you will hear, and to be an absolute force of nature on stage.
