Björn Borg’s SS15 Collection Fashion Show in Stockholm is Unique and Fun (Video)

I initially was interested in Björn Borg’s SS15 fashion show in Stockholm last night because rumour had it Conchita Wurst was either going to be on the runway or attending. As it turns out, while Conchita was indeed a front row guest (and looking stunning in a Björn Borg body suit, might I add), the SS15 fashion show itself was wonderful as well.

In fact, Björn Borg fashion house, Head of Design James Lee (see tweet below), and Creative Show Director B. Åkerlund put together a show that was quite unique and incredibly fun.

Styled with a video game in mind – Björn Borg’s upcoming ”First Person Lover” – the show featured models in masks, music with a digital futuristic theme, and a style of walking the runway (robot-like) that definitely made you take notice.

The SS15 collection itself is also gorgeous, and a huge step away from the usual bland and dull sportswear some companies still produce.

Primarily monochrome in design but with the addition of shades of grey, pink, orange and mint, I specifically loved the women’s tank tops, and the men’s Michelangelo’s David-style shorts. The black body suit, that was also worn by Conchita, (see model photo above and, yes, I’d buy that in a heartbeat) was absolutely sublime.

All in all, a lovely show, a gorgeous collection and one Björn Borg should feel very proud of.

Now check out the video of the full show below to see what I mean. And, if you’re looking for Conchita, she can clearly be seen several times sitting in the front row of the audience on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
