The MBC drama Black Out, Episode 11 aired on Saturday night in South Korea to the Kdrama’s highest ever rating, as it saw a big jump in its audience share compared to last week.
Numbers via Nielsen Korea show Black Out, Episode 11 grabbed 8.7 percent of the nationwide viewership last night.
That is a substantial increase of 2.6 percent higher than Episode 10, as well as 2.2 percent higher than the drama’s previous highest rating of 6.5 percent (Episode 9).
The Korean crime drama also performed similarly with Seoul audiences, as it garnered 8.5 percent of the viewership in the capital city.
Both ratings put the MBC drama in the #3 spot for the day on Korean TV.
The mystery thriller is also performing well with international audiences, as users of My Drama List, who are notoriously picky with their ratings, are currently rating it a very solid 8.3 out of 10.
Black Out stars Byun Yo Han, Ko Jun, Go Bo Gyeol, and Kim Bo Ra.
Its next episode airs on MBC in South Korea tonight, with Hulu streaming it for its international subscribers.
The Korean drama’s final two episodes will then air/stream next weekend.
