Ongoing MBC crime drama Black Out, Episode 9 aired last night to its highest rating yet. Both from nationwide audiences and viewers in Seoul.
The Kdrama’s new personal best rating nationwide was 6.5 percent, which is only a tiny jump from Episode 8’s 6.4 percent, but a jump nevertheless.
It is also a substantial increase compared to the 2.8 percent Black Out earned for Episode 1.
In Seoul, however, the drama’s ratings increase was slightly larger, with Black Out, Episode 9 earning 6.4 percent of the audience compared to the 6.1 percent it earned for its previous episode.
All extremely good ratings. Especially considering the Kdrama airs in the same time slot as the massively successful Good Partner.
Black Out is also earning solid ratings from its international viewers, with users of My Drama List awarding it an 8.2 out of 10 so far (a very good rating for users of that site).
The MBC drama stars Byun Yo Han, Ko Jun, Go Bo Gyeol, and Kim Bo Ra.
It airs every Friday and Saturday evening on MBC, with Hulu streaming it for that platform’s subscribers in the United States.
