Boys’ Love ‘Nagahama to Be, or Not to Be’ manga out via Seven Seas in 2024

Boys’ Love fans might want to be keeping an eye out for a new Seven Seas Entertainment manga that has just been licensed by the American company.

That manga is Scarlet Beriko’s Nagahama to Be, or Not to Be and is scheduled to start publishing in February, 2024 in digital format, with a physical volume out in April.

If you enjoy a good Boys’Love story between school friends then, from the synopsis of the manga’s plot, this one may just hit the spot.

Seven Seas has this to say about the Nagahama to Be, or Not to Be plot:

Nagisa may look like a delinquent, but he’s just a typical teen trying to figure out what to do with his life.

 

Nagisa’s best friend, Issa, already knows what his own passion is: fish! Issa often skips school to work at the Nagahama fish market, and the two boys hang out near the ocean almost every day.

 

When Nagisa suspects that Issa has a girlfriend, it turns his world upside down. Is he in love with his best friend? Could his best friend possibly like him back?

The manga is currently ongoing in Japan, with serialization via Cheri+.

The digital version is just four or five months away, and the print version features really nice large-trim editions to add to your Boys’ Love manga collection.

And yes, I have flipped through the Japanese edition of Nagahama to Be, or Not to Be, and I can say the art style is cool (I love the character designs) and Nagisa and Issa look like more unusual and quite interesting characters.

After all, it has been quite a while since a main character in a Boys’ Love manga is a fish seller, eh?
