Campfire Cooking in Another World…Season 2 gets trailer, cute visual and premiere date

Now, while Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill was nothing to write home about, if you were looking for a calming and chill anime to watch, it did hit all the spots.

So much so for many people, apparently, as a second season was announced soon after its first ended, with fans getting the heads up today via the anime’s X account that Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Season 2 is now scheduled to premiere in October, 2025.

Along with the premiere date, we also got a cute visual of protagonist Tsuyoshi Mukouda eating a huge beef bowl, and obviously loving what he tastes.

An accompanying trailer has Mukouda, Fel and Sui enjoying more delicious dishes, while suddenly being introduced to a new friend — and new character, miniature red dragon Dora-chan, who is voiced by Ayumu Murase (Luck in Black Clover).

The Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Season 2 production details

The isekai anime series is based on the light novel of the same name written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Akagishi K.

J-Novel Club publishes the novels in English (15 volumes), along with its manga adaptation.

Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kakegurui××) directs the anime series, with Michiko Yokote (Train to the End of the World) in charge of series composition, and Yuuki Fukuda (Insomniacs After School), Yuzu Touma, Ken Tsubuki (Bye Bye Earth) and Nao Ootsu (Beastars) designing the characters.

Ootsu is also the chief animation director, while MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen) is animating the series.

The Campfire Cooking in Another World plot looks like this:

Mukaida Tsuyoshi, an office worker, gets caught up in a “Hero Summoning” and is transported to another world. Feeling suspicious about the story of the king of the other world, Mukaida decides to quickly escape the country and sets off on a journey alone.

The only skill he can rely on on his journey is the one he was given when he was summoned: Online Supermarket.

It’s a convenient skill that allows him to order products from modern Japanese supermarkets while in the other world!

However, during his journey to a neighboring country, the delicious smell of the “pork with ginger” he serves to his guards attracts a surprising person –!?

The journey of the man who uses his “incredible skill” to cook delicious monster meat and the gluttonous Fenrir begins now.

Add this one to your October calendar if you enjoyed Season 1, as its second season looks like it will be just as much fun.
