Castlevania Season 2 releasing on Netflix October 26th and twice the size of Season 1

Castlevania Season 2 is going to be twice the size of Season 1

The extremely popular animated series Castlevania Season 2 has just been given a release date. The series will be releasing exclusively on Netflix on October 26th, and this time will feature eight episodes rather than the paltry four episodes Season 1 was given when it came out last July.

And just in time for Halloween too. Yay!

The show’s release date was announced during the Netflix panel at Anime Expo 2018, as well as the fact that the season will be released in its entirety on that date.

Castlevania Season 2 will again be written by comic book writer Warren Ellis, with Richard Armitage reprising his role as the voice of monster hunter Trevor Belmont.

And, if you are not already excited enough about Season 2, it also seems Season 3 is already in the works. At least according to Armitage, who told Digital Spy production of Season 3 will soon begin.

Castlevania is a gorgeous animated series with superb voice acting and a cool story

Netflix has not released a trailer for Castlevania Season 2 as yet, though, but it is likely we will be getting that soon.

Meanwhile, give yourself a quick reminder of just how fabulous Season 1 was by watching that season’s trailer below.
