Christina Perri ‘A Thousand Years’ – Romantic and Simply Lovely: Repeat Rotation Video

christina perri a thousand years

When I was a radio DJ eons ago, I was so mired in listening to alternative rock music I probably missed a lot of really great songs.

Thank heavens I’m not as stuck in an alternative rock rut nowadays, as I listen to most music genres but have really become obsessed with a lot of female singers I may not have listened to in a previous life – Conchita Wurst (yep, she’s all girl to me!), Iggy Azalea, Paloma Faith and, of course, the stunning Christina Perri (that girl has the best tattoos in the world!).

So, it should be no surprise today that, after watching Christina Perri live on The Today Show yesterday, I decided today’s Repeat Rotation Video just had to be a Perri special.

So, for your listening pleasure (and, of course, mine as I’ve been playing it over and over again all day as I love this song), here is Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’.

‘A Thousand Years’, by the way, was written by Christina especially for the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, as she is a huge Twilight fan. All I know is the song is romantic and lovely, and that’s enough for me.

Watch it below.
