Coldplay’s Chris Martin Sings with U2 for (RED) Concert on World AIDS Day (Video)
U2 was one of the many bands playing live in New York on World AIDS Day for the (RED) concert yesterday. Awesome bands, of course, but none more awesome than U2 and their performance because………Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin sang with them. Come on. U2 and Chris Martin on the same stage? It doesn’t get better than that.
Martin sang “Beautiful Day” and “With or Without You“, and very nice performances of each, I might add.
Personally, I’m not a fan of (Product) RED for many many reasons, one being there are far better ways to raise money for HIV/AIDS issues that don’t include massively benefiting major corporations, but, that aside, you have to admit, U2 and Chris Martin are fabulous here.
Watch U2 and Chris Martin performing live in NYC below. Heck, I’d stand out in that cold weather to watch them.
