I’m not a huge fan of Christmas music. Come on, I live in Thailand, a Buddhist country, and where Christmas Day is always 95 degrees so, no, I’m not usually in a Christmas mood. But I have to say I am absolutely loving Courtney Act, Willam and Alaska’s latest release ‘Dear Santa, Bring Me a Man’. It’s amazing.
And, as if their original release of ‘Dear Santa, Bring Me a Man‘ wasn’t good enough, Courtney, Willam and Alaska were at LA’s The Grove shopping center recently to do a ‘guerilla version’ of the video, which is even better. In fact, I’d love it even if it was just for that amazing green coat Courtney is wearing.
The only thing I’m suspicious of here? The Grove is a few blocks away from where I used to live, so I’ve been there many times and…..it looks mightily quiet for how I remember it normally being. So is it really ‘guerilla’ or is it let’s record this when the mall is closed and everyone has gone home? Hmmmmm.
Either way, though, it’s freaking cool.
